We must become the change we wish to see in the world

Education is key! And knowledge is power. So why is it that this young generation, more privileged and better educated than any of their predecessors, is witnessing the degeneration of a culture; the rapid desecration of our home? Why, when educated, ambitious, and passionate young people complete their studies abroad, do they shun the land they claim to love, saying, “Trinidad have nothing for me…I would love to go back…but the crime…I just real doh like the way the country going…”

Well, let’s DO something about it. We believe we can make a difference, more importantly, we believe every person in Trinidad has the power to make a difference, regardless of age, social status, sex, or level of education. We believe that undervaluing one’s own opinion and personal power is not only cowardly, but self-deprecating.

We also believe that the key to improving a situation is to gain a better understanding of the problem. So this is what we strive to offer you. Open, honest communication. A reliable source of holistic information about current affairs in our country. But most importantly, this site is about what you can offer the rest of us. Express your opinions. Intelligently. Let’s help each other to open our minds and educate ourselves – then just maybe we can stop ranting unproductively, waiting for members of an antiquated establishment to change a system which serves their own interests.

Educate yourself. Empower yourself. Instead of buying into the system, we can make it our own, and reclaim our country. Express yourself…we’re listening.
